Position Overview
We are seeking proven top-performing Big4 auditors with experience in middle-market private clients who are eager to transition their expertise into Transaction Advisory Services. This role is designed for early-stage TAS professionals or high-performing Big4 auditors looking to develop their QoE skillset. The position supports Palm Tree’s continued growth and offers opportunities to work on impactful engagements.
Key Deliverables
- Quality of Earnings (QoE) Reports
- Financial Statement Analyses
- Client-Facing Outputs, including KPI Dashboards and Investment Models
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Due Diligence: Perform basic financial-based due diligence on prospective transactions and strategic decisions of businesses.
- Risk Identification: Learn to identify and quantify key financial and operational risks while evaluating business drivers and assumptions.
- Financial Analysis: Support teams with detailed reviews of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and key operational metrics.
- Client Deliverables: Assist in creating reports and presentations that highlight financial, commercial, and strategic drivers behind financial performance.
- Modeling Engagements: Learn and support basic FP&A and modeling engagements, including 3-statement financial and operational models.
- Data Synthesis: Help synthesize and convert data into meaningful metrics to analyze business performance and drivers.
- Reporting: Compose and analyze detailed financial reporting packages, operational KPIs, and liquidity reports.
- Team Collaboration: Manage and prioritize responsibilities through continuous interaction with senior team members.
- Presentation Development: Assist in constructing reports and presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, and BI technologies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting is required.
- Active CPA (or demonstrated progress toward CPA certification) is required.
- Postgraduate degrees are a plus, but not required.
- Experience with private clients in the middle market.
- At least one year of QoE work experience in Big4/public accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Strong technical skills, organizational abilities, and multitasking capabilities.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with attention to detail.

- Base Salary: $100k, plus a performance-based bonus.
