Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic team leader with deep expertise in Financial Due Diligence and Quality of Earnings (QoE) reporting, particularly within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in client services, such as in Big 4 or private equity consulting, and a proven ability to manage teams and build strong client relationships. This position is an add-to-staff role with significant room for growth, offering the opportunity to lead high-impact engagements and contribute to the success of middle-market companies and private equity firms.
Key Deliverables
- Quality of Earnings (QoE) Reports
- Working Capital Adjustment Analyses
- Gap Analyses and Operational Recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Provide oversight of QoE and Working Capital Adjustment engagements.
- Financial Expertise: Lead the design and execution of complex quantitative analyses and detailed financial models.
- Client Engagement: Facilitate meetings, present insights, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Change Management: Consult on restructuring team structures, business processes, or information needs.
- Operational Integration: Assist clients in integrating financial reports and processes into ongoing operations.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop mid-level and junior team members, ensuring quality outcomes and professional growth.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to Palm Tree’s growth.
- Thought Leadership: Publish insights, speak at industry events, and position yourself as an expert in Transaction Advisory Services.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- CPA (active or inactive) is required.
- A Master’s degree (MAC or MBA) is helpful but not required.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Financial Due Diligence, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm or equivalent.
- Proven expertise in the healthcare sector, including pay/reimbursement risk and revenue cycle analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and engagements across client services or PE-backed portfolio companies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong technical skills and financial acumen.
- Experience in leading and developing teams, managing projects, and delivering high-quality client service.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional work products and striving for excellence.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $200k–$225k, plus a competitive performance-based incentive bonus.

Work & Travel
